TOWIE’s Dan Edgar has furiously vowed NEVER to take his ex Ella Rae Wise back.
The day before entering Celebrity Big Brother, Ella revealed she’d dumped Dan after 18 months together, sensationally revealing: “We can’t just be together because we have a great sex life”.
Fans were convinced Ella broke it off with Dan for a showmance with Love Island’s Chris Hughes in the house, but the pair have clashed.
Towie bosses have since been hopeful of a reconciliation on the next Towie series – but Dan is none of it.
Our source said: “Dan is absolutely fuming about how he was played by Ella.
“He feels used that she dumped him straight before going on Celebrity Big Brother in hopes of a showmance.
“Even though it’s backfired on her, it doesn’t make things easier. Ella embarrassed him in a bid to gain popularity and more followers.
“The cast have heard there’s been talk about producers asking Dan to get back with Ella on-screen when she gets out of the house, but he’s not having it.
“She’s made her bed, now she needs to lie in it.”
After entering CBB, Ella cried over her relationship ending, telling her housemates: “I just feel like an idiot because I knew he wasn’t going be what I wanted him to be.
“I don’t want to waste years trying to change someone.”
Ella insisted she felt something was “missing” from her relationship, but hopes they can be friends.
She has since been accused of acting “jealous” towards Chris – who has struck up a very close friendship with JoJo Siwa.
Dan admitted there had been a “strange turn of events” in the week before Ella entered the famous house, adding: “Things have been said that I didn’t really want to comment on.”
Friends close to Dan told The Sun he was shocked after seeing Ella refer to their sex life when discussing their split.
The pal said: “Dan might be on Towie and share elements of his life, but there are certain things that he likes to keep private, and Ella publicly discussing their sex life was just a step too far for him.
“It came without any warning and he really didn’t expect that from her. He was shocked to say the least.
“He actually feels their relationship wasn’t just about sex and was far more meaningful than that.”
