But in a surprise twist, it’s Chris’s unexpected bond with JoJo Siwa that has fans obsessed.
Celebrity Big Brother fans spotted them holding hands in the dark and giggling in bed last night.
The moment, caught during the night-vision bedroom scenes, had no audio but that didn’t stop eagle-eyed viewers from picking up on the sweet exchange.
“There’s no sound on atm but I loved seeing Chris and JoJo holding hands in the bedroom and giggling,” one fan wrote on X.
“The friendship they’ve formed already is SO sweet tbh.”
Others were quick to point out that while producers may have been steering toward a classic CBB romance, it’s the adorable “bromance” between the Love Island star and the pop sensation that’s stealing the show.
“The producers wanted to drive a Chris and Ella love story, but we’re gonna get a Chris and JoJo bromance story instead,” another posted.

Newly single Ella – who confirmed she had dumped ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar to The Sun – started to clean the CBB house with Chris.
Sparks appeared to fly as Ella asked Chris cleaned the kitchen counters and Chris reached down to collect the wet wipes.
He then cheekily asked her: “Anything else while I’m down here?” before she quipped: “Don’t ask.”
As Chris bent down to pick up the cleaning products, Ella remarked: “That’s it boy.”
She then asked him: “Do you want to spray and I’ll wipe?”
The pair then bonded about their love of cleaning, with Chris saying he finds the household chore ‘therapeutic’.
